This Privacy Policy describes how AllerGuard LLC (“AllerGuard,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you interact with our website, newsletter, subscription platform, or search tools (collectively, the “Platform”).
By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Privacy Policy. Use of the Platform is also subject to our Terms & Conditions.
1. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide:- Email address
- Blog post comments or replies (via Beehiiv)
- Contact form submissions
- Subscription type and payment amount (via Stripe through Beehiiv)
- One-time or pay-as-you-go purchases (via Stripe)
- We may collect anonymous search usage statistics (e.g., counts or timestamps) to monitor performance and improve the Platform.
- Anonymous search queries (e.g., NDC or ingredient lookups via Supabase)
- Device/browser information (via analytics tools, e.g., Google Analytics 4, if enabled)
- We may use cookies and similar technologies (e.g., Google Analytics 4) to analyze traffic and improve user experience. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and some analytics tools (e.g., GA4) provide opt-out features.
- Ad interaction data (e.g., impressions, clicks) via third-party ad services, if used
All payments are processed by Stripe. AllerGuard does not store credit card numbers or other sensitive billing information.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Sharing of Information
We share information only as necessary with:
- Beehiiv – to manage subscriptions, newsletter delivery, and membership tiers
- Stripe – to securely process payments
- Supabase – to process search queries and return results. We do not store individual search histories, and specific NDC searches are not tied to user accounts.
- Make (Integromat) – to automate email delivery and onboarding flows
- Law enforcement or regulatory authorities if required by law
We do not sell personal data as defined under California or other state privacy laws.
4. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to operate the Platform, comply with legal obligations, and provide the services you have requested. Retention practices vary depending on the type of information and the service provider involved.
Our practices:
- Search data: We do not store your individual search queries or history in Supabase or any other database. Results are returned in real time without permanent storage tied to your account.
- Contact form submissions: When you reach out through our support form, the submission is delivered to our business email account via a Make automation. We may retain these emails for customer service records, but they can be deleted upon request.
- Subscriber and account data: Beehiiv manages your email address, subscription tier, and newsletter delivery. If you request deletion through Beehiiv, they will remove your subscription and related data according to their policies (privacy@beehiiv.com).
- Payment records: Stripe processes all payments. We do not store your credit card numbers or sensitive billing details. Stripe may retain transaction records as required for financial and legal compliance.
Upon your deletion request:
- Newsletter and subscription data will be removed from Beehiiv.
- Support inquiries sent by you can be deleted from our business email system if you contact us with a request.
- Payment records are maintained by Stripe as required by financial regulations.
- We may retain anonymized or aggregated data for analytics and performance purposes, which cannot be used to identify you.
We do not sell or share your email addresses with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Your Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to:
- Access personal data
- Correct inaccuracies
- Request deletion
- Opt out of data sharing (if applicable)

6. Security
We use industry-standard methods to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. You use the Platform at your own risk.
